Gold Price Surges by Rs 12,600 per Tola in Two Days

Kathmandu: Gold and silver prices continued to rise in the Nepali market on Friday, with the price of gold increasing by Rs 3,300 per tola today.

Gold had already surged by Rs 9,300 per tola on Thursday. With Friday’s increase, the price of gold has climbed by Rs 12,600 per tola in the past two trading days.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 316,700 per tola on Friday. It was priced at Rs 313,400 per tola on Thursday and Rs 304,100 per tola on Wednesday.

Gold was traded at Rs 306,800 per tola on Tuesday. The price had declined by Rs 2,700 per tola on Wednesday before rising sharply over the following two trading days.

The price of silver has also increased. Silver, which rose by Rs 60 per tola on Thursday to Rs 4,855, has reached Rs 4,985 per tola on Friday, marking an increase of Rs 130 compared to the previous trading day.

Silver was traded at Rs 4,595 per tola on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, gold is being traded at USD 4,537 per ounce in the international market on Friday.
