Kathmandu: MAW Vriddhi Motors, the authorised importer of Dongfeng Nammi vehicles in Nepal, is set to launch the new Nammi Vigo E2 on August 19, 2026, positioning the latest version of Vigo as a “Full SUV.”
The upcoming Vigo E2 is designed to offer a more complete SUV experience, combining spaciousness, modern features and practical performance to meet the needs of Nepali customers.
The launch comes as Nammi continues to strengthen its presence in Nepal. More than 2,000 Nammi vehicles are already operating on Nepali roads, reflecting growing customer acceptance of the brand and its electric vehicles.
The Vigo has also demonstrated its capability in diverse and challenging terrains, with vehicles reaching destinations including Manang, Mustang and Shuklaphanta. Such real-world journeys have helped establish the Vigo as a capable and dependable electric SUV for Nepal’s varied road conditions.
The new Vigo E2 will retain the model’s SUV-focused character, spacious cabin and practical performance while introducing a refreshed proposition for customers looking for an electric SUV suitable for both everyday commuting and longer journeys.
According to MAW Vriddhi Motors, the official price and complete specifications of the Nammi Vigo E2 will be revealed during the launch on August 19.
The launch is expected to further strengthen Nammi’s position in Nepal’s growing electric SUV market.
