Kathmandu: Sahara Magiya, an ACCA student at the British Professional College (BPC), has secured the third position worldwide in Taxation (TX) in the September 2026 examination session.
The achievement marks her second global top-10 finish in consecutive ACCA examination sessions. In June 2026, she ranked first in Nepal and eighth worldwide in Performance Management (PM).
Magiya has also demonstrated strong academic performance in other ACCA papers, scoring 94 percent in Financial Accounting, 81 percent in Management Accounting and 78 percent in Business and Technology.
Speaking about her achievement, Magiya attributed her results to consistent effort, perseverance and support from her lecturers and mentors. “These results mean a great deal to me. They come from consistent hard work and never giving up when things get difficult. I am grateful to my lecturers, mentors and the whole BPC team for their support. This is an important milestone, and it motivates me to aim even higher,” she said.
Dipendra K. Shrestha, Head of Professional Education at BPC, congratulated Magiya, describing her global rankings in two consecutive examination sessions as an exceptional achievement.
He said her results reflected dedication and discipline, while reaffirming BPC’s commitment to providing quality professional education, academic guidance and a supportive learning environment.
Shrestha also expressed hope that her achievement would inspire other students to set ambitious goals and pursue excellence in their ACCA studies.
