Kathmandu: Nepal ‘A’ is set to begin its campaign in Australia’s Top End T20 Series today, taking on host side Northern Territory Strike at 2:15 PM Nepal Standard Time.
Captain Anil Shah will lead the Nepal ‘A’ side, with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) naming a 15-member squad that includes Kushal Bhurtel, Lokesh Bam, Kushal Malla and Pawan Sarraf.
Nepal will face strong opposition during the six-match league stage. Following today’s opening match, the team will play against the Bangladesh High-Performance team tomorrow before taking on the Hurricanes, ACT Comets, Kingsmen and Victoria.
Nepal ‘A’ will be aiming to improve on its previous performance in the tournament, where the team recorded two wins and four defeats from six matches.
