Laxmi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. has concluded the SML Mahindra Free Service Camp in Pokhara, with more than 100 SML Mahindra commercial vehicles participating in the four-day event.
The camp was held from Ashoj 15 to Ashoj 18, 2083, with customers and vehicles from Pokhara, Gorkha and surrounding areas taking part.
The initiative was organized to encourage regular vehicle servicing, assess the technical condition of vehicles and provide customers with guidance on necessary maintenance and vehicle care.
During the camp, customers received a 50 percent discount on labor charges, 15 percent off lubricants and 15–20 percent off spare parts. Technical inspections of participating vehicles and gifts for customers were also provided.
Focus on BS6 Technology and Vehicle Maintenance
The company also used the service camp to highlight the importance of BS6 technology, which is designed to reduce harmful vehicle emissions while supporting fuel efficiency and improved vehicle operation.
The latest-generation SML Mahindra vehicles feature technologies including Hill Start Assist, Multi-Information Meter Cluster, Gear Coaching System, and Power and Economy Driving Modes.
These features are designed to support vehicle control, smoother starts on inclines, driver information and more efficient driving practices, with availability varying according to the vehicle model and variant.
Regular Servicing for Vehicle Reliability
According to the company, regular servicing is important for maintaining the performance of modern BS6 vehicles and their emission-control systems.
Timely lubricant changes, filter and brake inspections, technical checks and the use of appropriate spare parts can help maintain vehicle performance and identify potential issues at an early stage.
The service camp provided customers with an opportunity to assess their vehicles, receive maintenance guidance and obtain technical advice on proper vehicle care.
Laxmi Commercial Vehicles said the participation of more than 100 vehicles reflects customer interest in regular servicing and technical maintenance. The participation of customers from Gorkha and surrounding areas also helped expand the reach of its after-sales service.
