Gold Price Falls by Rs 2,700 Per Tola, Silver Drops by Rs 160

Kathmandu: Gold and silver prices declined in the Nepali market on Wednesday, with both precious metals recording notable drops compared to the previous trading day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 304,100 per tola for Wednesday. The price has decreased by Rs 2,700 per tola from Tuesday’s rate of Rs 306,800.

Similarly, the price of silver has dropped by Rs 160 per tola to Rs 4,595. Silver was traded at Rs 4,755 per tola on Tuesday.

The latest decline follows fluctuations in international precious-metal markets, with movements in global gold and silver prices continuing to influence domestic rates.
