Kathmandu: Gold and silver prices witnessed a sharp decline in the domestic market on Sunday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold dropped by Rs. 9,500 per tola (11.66 grams), bringing the trading rate down to Rs. 309,000 per tola.
The price stood at Rs. 318,500 per tola in Friday’s trading.
Similarly, silver prices also declined on Sunday. The Federation reported a decrease of Rs. 185 per tola, bringing the price of silver to Rs. 4,780 per tola, compared to Rs. 4,965 per tola on Friday.
