Lalitpur: Nepal-based cybersecurity service provider Insight Technology Pvt. Ltd. has received the ‘AI in Cybersecurity’ Award at the ASOCIO Digital AI Awards 2026, held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The award recognizes the company’s use of artificial intelligence to strengthen cybersecurity monitoring, threat detection, incident response and digital resilience across organizations in various sectors.
According to the company, its AI-driven cybersecurity solutions help organizations identify, prioritize, investigate and respond to emerging cyber threats through continuous monitoring and rapid response mechanisms.
Recognition at Regional Technology Event
Insight Technology Managing Director and CEO Suman K. Sharma presented the company’s cybersecurity initiatives and AI-driven approach during the Awardee Showcase held on October 7 at Swissôtel Jakarta PIK Avenue.
The presentation was attended by ASOCIO Board members, fellow award recipients, technology leaders and delegates from across the Asia-Oceania region.
The Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO), established in 1984, represents national ICT associations from more than 25 countries across Asia and Oceania.
The organization promotes digital economy development, regional technology collaboration and innovation, while its Digital AI Awards recognize organizations applying artificial intelligence to deliver practical outcomes.
Focus on AI-Driven Cybersecurity
Commenting on the recognition, Sharma credited the company’s engineers, analysts and clients for contributing to its achievement.
“This award belongs to our engineers, our analysts, and our clients who trusted a Nepali company with their most critical systems,” Sharma said.
He added that the company aims to make advanced cybersecurity solutions accessible to organizations while demonstrating the capabilities of Nepal’s technology sector on the international stage.
