Kathmandu: Cimex Inc., the authorized distributor of BYD vehicles in Nepal, has inaugurated a new BYD Service Center in Bhaktapur and held a groundbreaking ceremony for another service facility in Dallu, Kathmandu, as part of its ongoing expansion of after-sales services.
The two developments aim to strengthen BYD’s service network, improve accessibility and provide greater convenience to the growing number of electric vehicle customers across Nepal.
The Bhaktapur Service Center was inaugurated by Zhang Jie, Deputy General Manager of BYD Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, and Feng Erdong, Assistant General Manager and Head of After-Sales at BYD Asia Pacific.
Bhaktapur Facility Offers Integrated 3S Services
Spread across 25,072.60 square feet, the Bhaktapur facility has been developed as a 3S center integrating sales, service and spare parts under one roof.
The facility has eight service bays, of which five are currently operational, while the remaining three are planned to accommodate future service demand. The vehicle showroom is expected to open soon.
Designed as a BYD Heritage Showroom and Service Center, the facility incorporates architectural elements inspired by Bhaktapur’s cultural heritage while maintaining BYD’s global service standards.
According to the company, the integrated facility aims to provide customers with convenient access to vehicle servicing, genuine spare parts and technical support.
New Service Center Planned in Dallu
Cimex Inc. also conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for its upcoming BYD Service Center in Dallu, Kathmandu, on the same day.
The ceremony was attended by senior BYD representatives, including Zhang Jie, Feng Erdong and Liu Xiaofeng, Head of After-Sales for the South Asia Region at BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division.
Cimex Inc. Chairman Anil Shrestha, Managing Director Yamuna Shrestha and CEO Sahil Shrestha were also present.
The upcoming Dallu facility is expected to expand BYD’s service capacity in Kathmandu and improve access to after-sales support for customers in the surrounding areas.
Focus on EV After-Sales Support
Cimex Inc. said the expansion reflects its commitment to strengthening after-sales infrastructure as electric vehicle adoption continues to grow in Nepal.
The company aims to provide reliable servicing, trained technical professionals, genuine spare parts and efficient customer support through its expanding service network.
With the Bhaktapur facility now operational and the Dallu center under development, Cimex Inc. plans to further strengthen BYD’s after-sales presence in Nepal under its service philosophy, “Superior & Sincere Service.”
