Kathmandu: : Ather Nepal, under Vaidya Energy Pvt. Ltd., has recorded more than 500 bookings during the six-day NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026, reflecting strong customer interest in Ather’s latest electric scooter portfolio, technology and ownership ecosystem.
The milestone comes after six days of customer engagement at the expo, where Ather showcased its latest products, intelligent riding technologies and charging and after-sales ecosystem.
Rather than focusing solely on promotional offers, Ather highlighted key aspects of EV ownership, including battery assurance, service accessibility, charging infrastructure and technology.
Building Confidence Beyond the Purchase
Ather’s focus on long-term ownership assurance was among the factors contributing to the strong customer response at the expo.
Through its Eight70 Warranty, Ather offers battery coverage of up to eight years or 80,000 km, with an assurance of maintaining at least 70% battery health, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
The company’s expanding after-sales network also remains an important part of its ownership proposition. Ather currently has 10+ authorised service centres and a 50+ fast-charging grid across Nepal, supporting customers beyond the initial vehicle purchase.
According to Ather Nepal, the response at NAIMA also reflects changing customer expectations, with EV buyers increasingly considering the overall ownership ecosystem alongside the vehicle itself.
New Overtone Series Draws Customer Attention
The newly introduced Ather 450 Overtone Series emerged as one of the major attractions at the expo. Visitors had the opportunity to experience Ather’s latest technology and interaction-focused features.
Key highlights included:
- Magic Twist: regenerative braking control through a simple reverse twist of the throttle.
- Infinite Cruise: designed to make cruising more effortless and intuitive.
- Voice on Ather: enabling more natural interaction with the scooter through voice-based controls and connected technology.
These features showcase Ather’s approach to combining electric mobility with software-led technology and rider-focused innovation.
Ather’s wider portfolio, including the latest 450 Series and Rizta family, also attracted visitors looking for options across performance, comfort and everyday urban mobility.
More Than a Booking Milestone
For Ather Nepal, the achievement of more than 500 bookings represents more than a sales figure, reflecting growing confidence among Nepali consumers in electric mobility and the ecosystem supporting it.
Speaking on the milestone, Ather Nepal said, “The response at NAIMA Mobility Expo has reinforced our belief that customers are looking beyond short-term offers. They want confidence in the product, confidence in the battery, confidence in service and charging, and technology that genuinely improves their riding experience. The 500+ bookings are a reflection of that trust.”
As Ather continues to expand its presence in Nepal, the company remains focused on developing an EV ecosystem that combines technology, reliability, battery assurance, charging infrastructure and everyday usability.
With its expanding product portfolio, charging network, service infrastructure and long-term battery assurance, Ather Nepal aims to make the transition to electric mobility more convenient and confident for Nepali riders.
