Kathmandu. The price of gold and silver has increased in the local market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 304,700 per tola today.

On the previous trading day (Wednesday), the same quantity of gold was traded at Rs 300,400 per tola. Compared to yesterday, the price of gold has increased by Rs 4,300 per tola today.

Similarly, the price of silver has also gone up today. According to the Federation, consumers will have to pay Rs 5,060 per tola for silver today. The price of silver, which was fixed at Rs 4,880 yesterday, has increased by Rs 180 today.

In the international market, gold is currently being traded at USD 4,987 per ounce.
