Kathmandu: Himstar, a trusted name in Nepal’s electronics market for the past 27 years, has been announced as a co-sponsor for the broadcast of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Nepal.
The company has partnered with Himalaya Sports TV for television broadcast rights and with Digo App for online streaming of the tournament. Through this collaboration, Himstar aims to strengthen its connection with sports audiences across the country.
The company stated that associating its brand with the FIFA World Cup 2026 is a proud milestone and reflects its long-standing presence in Nepal’s consumer electronics market.
To mark the occasion, Himstar has also launched a promotional campaign for customers. Under the offer, buyers of Himstar 43-inch Ultra HD or larger televisions will receive up to 32% cashback, a World Cup live TV season pass, and a one-year Net TV subscription.
According to the company, the initiative is designed to enhance the viewing experience of Nepali football fans by making high-quality home entertainment more accessible during the World Cup season.
Himstar Electronics, known for its range of home appliances and televisions, stated that this partnership will further strengthen its engagement with sports enthusiasts and expand its brand presence in Nepal.
