Commenting on the announcement, Karan Chaudhary, Managing Director of CG Motocorp Pvt. Ltd. and CG Holdings, said: “When the government creates space for EVs to become more accessible, we have a responsibility to make sure that benefit reaches the customer without dilution. Not partially. Not after margins. Fully. Nepal has been building its electric future for years, without waiting for the world to catch up. The least we can do is meet that commitment at every opportunity.”
Supporting Nepal’s Electric Mobility Transition
CG Motocorp noted that Nepal has emerged as one of the world’s fastest-growing electric vehicle markets, driven by the country’s expanding clean energy capacity and the economic advantages of electric mobility.
The Suzuki e-Vitara has been positioned as a practical electric SUV designed to cater to a wide range of customers, from urban commuters to tourism entrepreneurs and business professionals seeking a premium electric vehicle.
The company emphasized that the NPR 100,000 reduction is not a promotional discount but a direct adjustment resulting from revised fiscal policies, aimed at making electric mobility more accessible.
Built for the Future
The Suzuki e-Vitara is Nepal’s first Japanese battery electric vehicle and is built on Suzuki’s dedicated HEARTECT-e platform. The vehicle features a 2,700 mm wheelbase, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), 5-Star BNCAP safety rating, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability across all variants.
Supporting the vehicle is CG Motocorp’s nationwide network of 25 authorized Suzuki sales outlets and 40 after-sales service centers, with EV-certified technicians available across launch locations.
With the revised pricing, CG Motocorp aims to further accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Nepal while strengthening customer access to Japanese EV technology and nationwide after-sales support.
