Kathmandu: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been scheduled to be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 2.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal will present a special motion during the meeting regarding the irreparable loss of life and property caused by the devastating Bhotekoshi River flood in Rasuwa on August 26.
Representatives of six political parties are scheduled to present their views during the session, said Secretariat Spokesperson Eakram Giri.
Earlier, the HoR session was adjourned until further notice on August 26, citing the adverse situation caused by the Bhotekoshi flood and the need for lawmakers to engage in search, rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts.
