Dallas: Nepal Tech Roadshow USA 2026, organized by Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) in collaboration with Nepalese American Chamber of Commerce (NACOC), concluded successfully in Dallas, Texas, with the objective of promoting Nepal’s growing technology ecosystem and strengthening international confidence in Nepal as an emerging technology destination.

Held at Embassy Suites by Hilton Grapevine, the event brought together technology leaders, entrepreneurs, diaspora professionals, investors, and businesses from Nepal and the United States. The program highlighted Nepal’s rapidly growing software and IT services sector, expanding engineering talent, startup ecosystem, export potential, and increasing global competitiveness.

The roadshow aimed to deliver a strong message to the international community that Nepali tech companies and professionals are capable, competitive, and prepared to contribute at a global level, positioning Nepal as a potential future technology hub in South Asia.

Industry leaders including Richan Shrestha, Himal Karmacharya, and Shankar Uprety shared insights into Nepal’s digital transformation journey and the opportunities emerging within the country’s technology ecosystem.

Presentations during the event highlighted that Nepal’s IT sector currently includes more than 2,000 technology companies, over 100,000 tech professionals, and nearly USD 1 billion in annual IT exports, reflecting the scale and momentum of the industry. Many attendees from the Nepali diaspora community expressed appreciation and surprise at the rapid growth of Nepal’s technology sector in recent years.

Building on the momentum of the Nepal Tech Roadshow Sydney 2025 and the recently held Nepal Tech Connect San Francisco session, the USA edition further strengthened Nepal’s international technology presence and created new opportunities for collaboration, investment, outsourcing partnerships, and diaspora engagement.

Organizers emphasized that initiatives like Nepal Tech Roadshow are helping reshape global perceptions of Nepal by showcasing the country not only as a tourism destination, but also as an emerging center for technology, innovation, and digital services.

The organizers also extended appreciation to all partners and supporting organizations that contributed to the successful execution of the event.
