Kathmandu: The Rt. Honorable Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli, accompanied by Madam Radhika Shakya and a high-level delegation, returned to Nepal today, September 03, 2025, aboard Himalaya Airlines’ Airbus A320 (Reg. 9N-ALW) after attending the two-day Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Beijing, China.
The Prime Minister led a distinguished ministerial team comprising Hon. Mr. Raghuji Pant, Minister for Education, Science and Technology; Hon. Mr. Badri Prasad Pandey, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada, Economic and Development Advisor; Members of Parliament; and senior government officials from various ministries.
To honor the delegation, Mr. Vijay Shrestha, Vice President (Administration) of Himalaya Airlines, was on board to personally welcome the Rt. Honorable Prime Minister. The special flight departed Beijing Capital International Airport at 18:21 (China Local Time) and landed successfully at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu at 21:27 (Nepal Standard Time).
The successful facilitation of this high-profile State Mission flight reflects Himalaya Airlines’ 10 years of dedicated service to the nation and its continued commitment to supporting important national and international missions as a trusted aviation partner of Nepal.
