Kathmandu: In response to the disaster affecting communities across Nepal, Sharda Group has contributed NPR 1.01 crore (NPR 10.1 million) to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund on August 31, 2026, along with immediate humanitarian and relief support.
The contribution has been made on behalf of the Group’s companies as follows:
- Pashupati Khadya Tel Udhyog Pvt. Ltd. – NPR 61 lakh
- Pashupati Synpack Industries Pvt. Ltd. – NPR 15 lakh
- Premier Wires Pvt. Ltd. – NPR 15 lakh
- Premier Distillery Limited – NPR 10 lakh
Immediate Relief and Humanitarian Support
In addition to its financial contribution, Sharda Group has extended essential assistance to support relief and rescue operations.
The Group has provided noodles, including Rumpum noodles, Goodlife biscuits and juices worth approximately NPR 60 lakh to the Government of Nepal for distribution among disaster-affected communities facing immediate shortages.
The Group has also offered free oxygen supplies to the Ministry of Health and Population to support relief and rescue operations in affected districts.
Shivam Cement Supports Relief and Reconstruction
Shivam Holdings Ltd., a company promoted by Sharda Group, has separately contributed NPR 21 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
Shivam Cement Ltd., another company promoted by the Group, has announced the adoption of a village in an affected area and will support its reconstruction by providing 11,000 bags of cement for rebuilding and restoration.
NPR 60 Lakh Worth of Essential Food and Beverages
The Group has provided noodles, biscuits and juice worth approximately NPR 60 lakh to the Government of Nepal for distribution among people affected by the disaster.
These essential food items are intended to support relief efforts and provide immediate assistance to communities facing shortages.
Blood Donation in Kathmandu and Biratnagar
Recognizing the urgent need for blood for injured victims, Sharda Group has also organized blood donation drives in Kathmandu and Biratnagar to support blood banks and ongoing rescue and relief efforts.
