Kathmandu: Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Honda Cars in Nepal, has announced a Free Airbag Safety Recall campaign for customers to address potential safety risks associated with SRS airbag inflators in selected older Honda models.
The recall campaign covers various Honda vehicles manufactured between 2001 and 2014, including the Honda City, Civic, CR-V, Jazz, Insight, Stream, and Accord.
Honda owners can independently verify whether their vehicles are included in the recall campaign by visiting the official Honda website.
As part of the initiative, inspection of the SRS airbag inflator, along with any required repair or replacement, will be carried out completely free of charge. Customers will not be required to pay any fees for the inspection or replacement service.
To ensure customer safety and help prevent potential risks, Syakar Trading Company has requested owners of the affected vehicles to contact their nearest authorized Honda service center and have their airbags inspected at the earliest opportunity.
