Kathmandu: Crossfire officially introduced the LETBE Flygon 220 in Nepal during a grand launch event held at Tabela Nepal. The motorcycle was unveiled in two variants; the Flygon 220 City and the Flygon 220 Hills offering riders a choice based on their lifestyle, preferred terrain, and riding requirements.
The launch represents more than the introduction of a new motorcycle; it also marks Crossfire’s official introduction of LETBE as a new motorcycle brand in Nepal. The Flygon 220 City and Flygon 220 Hills are the first models introduced under the LETBE brand.
Built around the concept of a “Mechanical Companion,” LETBE aims to combine practicality, intelligent technology, versatility, and lifestyle-focused design into a dependable and enjoyable riding experience.
One Bike. Every Road. Every Purpose.
Developed as a Cross-Terrain Motorcycle, the Flygon 220 is engineered to perform across city streets, highways, mountain roads, and light off-road trails. Built around the philosophy of “One Bike. Every Road. Every Purpose.”, it combines the practicality of a daily commuter with the comfort, stability, and capability required for touring and adventure riding.
The Flygon 220 City features street-focused tyres designed to deliver responsive handling, stability, and confidence on urban roads, highways, and occasional off-road routes.
Meanwhile, the Flygon 220 Hills comes equipped with adventure-oriented knobby tyres, providing enhanced grip and confidence on gravel roads, mountain trails, and light off-road terrain.
Designed for Nepal’s Riders and Roads
The Flygon 220 features a 780 mm seat height, making it accessible and comfortable for riders of average Nepali height. Complementing this is a generous 230 mm ground clearance, allowing the motorcycle to confidently tackle speed breakers, uneven roads, gravel tracks, and Nepal’s diverse riding conditions.
Its large wheel profile, featuring a 130/80-18 front tyre and 180/80-14 rear tyre, ranks among the largest and widest tyre setups in its segment. The wider profile enhances grip, stability, and rider confidence across a variety of surfaces while contributing to the Flygon 220’s bold and muscular road presence.
Both variants are powered by a 220cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine equipped with Bosch Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI), producing 12.8 kW at 7,500 rpm and 17 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Power is delivered through a five-speed gearbox and chain-drive transmission.
Smart Technology and Rider Features
The LETBE Flygon 220 comes equipped with a range of rider-focused technologies, including:
- Passive keyless entry
- Push-start ignition
- Smart locking system
- Anti-theft alarm
- 2.8-inch TFT display
Its upright riding position, optimized rider triangle, low centre of gravity, and accessible seat height provide enhanced comfort and control for both new and experienced riders.
Five-Year Warranty: Confidence That Goes the Distance
The LETBE Flygon 220 is backed by a five-year warranty, reflecting the brand’s confidence in its engineering, durability, and long-term reliability. The warranty offers additional peace of mind and reinforces the motorcycle’s promise of being a dependable Mechanical Companion for every journey.
