Kathmandu: The British College (TBC) successfully hosted its much-anticipated Alumni Meet and Networking Session 2026 on January 23, 2026, bringing together alumni from various graduating batches for an evening of celebration, reconnection, and meaningful professional networking.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome from the emcee, followed by an opening address from Mr. Arun Kumar Kandel, Country Director (TKG), who set the tone for an evening focused on strengthening alumni bonds and fostering long-term engagement with the institution.

A key highlight of the event was the session titled “Together We Are Stronger,” delivered by Mr. Amardeep Mandal, Head of Marketing, which resonated strongly with attendees by emphasizing the collective power and shared identity of the TBC alumni community. Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, the evening also featured an energetic dance performance that brought vibrancy and excitement to the gathering.

The event was further enriched by inspirational keynote addresses from distinguished alumni Mr. Aashish Acharya (MSc Advanced Computer Science) and Mr. Young Jin Hong (EMBA). Both speakers shared their professional journeys, personal reflections, and valuable insights, inspiring fellow alumni and reinforcing the impact of lifelong learning. A specially curated video memories segment added a sense of nostalgia, evoking cherished moments from campus life.

Continuing the formal programme, Mr. John Park, IT Advisor, addressed the audience, followed by a closing speech from Mr. Rajen Kandel, Chief Executive Officer, who underscored the pivotal role alumni play in shaping the future of the institution. He emphasized the importance of forming a strong and active alumni association to serve as a platform for collaboration, mentorship, and sustained engagement.

Mr. Kandel also highlighted that The British College has produced over 3,000 alumni to date, reflecting the institution’s strong academic legacy and growing global alumni network. He encouraged alumni to register and actively participate in the formation of a new alumni association, noting that a unified alumni body would strengthen professional networks, create opportunities for current and future students, and enable meaningful contributions to the broader TBC community.

Following the formal proceedings, alumni participated in networking sessions and a photo opportunity, allowing them to reconnect, exchange experiences, and build new professional relationships.

The British College extends its sincere appreciation to all alumni, speakers, and organisers whose participation made Alumni Meet 2026 a memorable and impactful event reaffirming the institution’s commitment to lifelong connections, collaboration, and community building.
