Kathmandu: Yamaha Nepal, under MAW Rides Pvt. Ltd., has successfully crossed the halfway milestone of its nationwide Yamaha RayZR Hybrid Mileage League, reaffirming the brand’s leadership in real-world fuel efficiency across Nepal’s diverse terrains.
As the competition intensifies toward its grand finale in Asar 2083, the Mileage League continues its search for Nepal’s most fuel-efficient rider, delivering results that go beyond laboratory figures and into real riding conditions.
Although the Yamaha RayZR 125 FI Hybrid carries an ARAI-certified mileage of 71.33 km/l, the ongoing Mileage League has produced remarkable real-world outcomes. To date, the highest recorded mileage stands at an impressive 87.20 km/l, with several participants closely trailing the top figure clearly surpassing manufacturer-certified claims under actual riding conditions.
Unlike controlled test environments, the Mileage League challenges riders across Nepal’s varied geography, including the Terai plains, hilly terrains, urban traffic, highways, and rugged off-road stretches. The consistent results highlight the RayZR Hybrid’s ability to deliver superior efficiency regardless of road conditions.
With a legacy of organizing mileage challenges in over 70 locations nationwide, Yamaha Nepal has transformed fuel efficiency into a transparent, customer-driven experience. Riders have not merely heard mileage claims—they have witnessed and proven them firsthand.
Spanning all seven provinces, the Mileage League has already covered major cities, with several key locations still remaining in the final circuit.

Speaking on the milestone, Mr. Deepak Kumar Agrawal, CEO and Executive Director of Yamaha Nepal, stated: “The Mileage League is more than a competition it reflects our commitment to Nepali riders. We are validating laboratory figures on the real roads of Nepal. Our goal is for every RayZR Hybrid owner to feel confident that they are riding the most efficient scooter in the country.”
At the heart of the competition is the Yamaha RayZR 125 FI Hybrid, Nepal’s best-selling scooter and the only hybrid scooter in its segment. The scooter is equipped with Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology and an automatic Stop & Start system, delivering an optimal balance of power, performance, and fuel economy unmatched by conventional scooters.
The “Winner of Winners” Grand Finale will be held in Asar 2083, where regional champions from across Nepal will compete for the national title. With more mileage challenges scheduled in the coming months, new contenders still have the opportunity to join the race.
