Nepal SBI Bank Employees Pledge Commitment on National Money Laundering Prevention Day

Kathmandu: Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (NSBL) observed National Money Laundering Prevention Day across all its offices on 14th Magh 2082, reaffirming its strong commitment to Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML-CFT) compliance.

To mark the day, declared by the Government of Nepal as National Money Laundering Prevention Day, employees of the bank took a formal pledge to enhance awareness and uphold strict AML-CFT standards in all banking operations. The initiative reflects NSBL’s ongoing efforts to promote ethical banking practices and strengthen the integrity of the financial system.

At a ceremony held at the Corporate Office in Kathmandu, Mr. Ram Kumar Tiwari, Managing Director & CEO of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd., administered the pledge to staff members, emphasizing the importance of vigilance, accountability, and compliance in preventing financial crimes.

The program was attended by senior management officials, including Mr. Vikas Anand, Deputy CEO & Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Panda, Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Prabin Muni Bajracharya, Chief Business Development Officer, along with other senior executives of the bank.

In addition to the Corporate Office, staff members from Province Offices and Branches nationwide also participated by taking the pledge at their respective offices, ensuring organization-wide engagement in the observance.

Currently, the bank operates through a comprehensive network of 102 Branches, 22 Extension Counters, 7 Province Offices, 21 Branchless Banking outlets, 127 ATMs, and a Corporate Office, serving customers across the country.
