Hetauda: Agni Incorporated Private Limited, the authorized distributor of Mahindra automobiles in Nepal, officially launched Mahindra’s Electric Origin SUVs the BE 6 and XEV 9e in Hetauda. The regional launch was held at the Mahindra Showroom, Agni Incorporated Pvt. Ltd., Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City–7, Neureni, marking a major milestone in expanding advanced electric mobility beyond Nepal’s major urban centers.

Built on Mahindra’s advanced INGLO Electric Origin Architecture and powered by MAIA (Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture) one of the world’s most intelligent automotive platforms the BE 6 and XEV 9e usher in a new era of performance-led, intelligent, and sustainable electric mobility for Hetauda.

The Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e were first introduced to Nepal during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo in August 2025, where they received an enthusiastic response from consumers. Since then, these Born Electric SUVs have continued to gain strong traction in the Nepali market, blending cutting-edge technology, emotional design, and sustainability. Notably, the Mahindra XEV 9e was recently awarded Green Car of the Year 2026 at the Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) Awards, underscoring its excellence in electric performance and sustainable innovation.

Building on this positive momentum, the Agni Group has outlined plans to expand Mahindra’s Born Electric lineup across multiple regions of Nepal. The Hetauda launch represents a strategic step toward making world-class electric SUVs accessible to customers outside Kathmandu and other major cities.

The BE 6 and XEV 9e embody Mahindra’s Heartcore Design Philosophy, combining bold innovation with emotional appeal. The BE 6 features a sporty, athletic silhouette aimed at adventure seekers, while the XEV 9e offers a refined SUV-coupé design focused on indulgence and luxury.

In terms of performance, most variants deliver 99 kW of power, while the XEV 9e Pack Three stands out with a commanding 199 kW, redefining expectations in the electric SUV segment. Both models are equipped with advanced features such as cinematic triple-screen displays (XEV 9e), a race-ready digital cockpit (BE 6), Sonic Studio by Harman Kardon, Autopark, ADAS Level 2/2+, 360-degree surveillance, and the ME4U connected vehicle app for a seamless, intelligent driving experience.
