Kathmandu: Virinchi College, located in Kumaripati, Lalitpur, has announced the launch of ICT Mela 6.0, a three-day technology exhibition taking place from December 11 to 13 (Mangsir 25–27). The annual event will highlight groundbreaking student innovations in design, robotics, software development, and emerging ICT trends.

The expo will feature creative and future-ready projects developed by bachelor-level IT students, including IoT prototypes, robotics models, and software applications. Students from various schools and colleges will also participate, offering a vibrant platform for learning, interaction, and inspiration.

To make the event highly engaging, ICT Mela 6.0 will host a series of competitions such as:

• UI/UX Design Contest
• Robo Ramp Race
• Robo Soccer
• Content Creation Bonanza
• Squid Game-themed challenges
• E-sports Tournament

Additionally, immersive and interactive zones will be set up, including:

• AR Campus Hunt
• Googler Challenge
• Interactive ICT Zone
• Peer & ICT Mentor Interaction Booth
• Future-Ready Career Counseling Corner

According to Virinchi College, ICT Mela 6.0 is designed to encourage students to step beyond traditional classrooms and gain hands-on experience, practical skill development, team collaboration, and exposure to real-world technology applications. The event also serves as a bridge between young talent and the growing opportunities in Nepal’s digital sector.

The exhibition will be open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, with free entry for all visitors. Schools and colleges are also encouraged to attend in groups.

Virinchi College has successfully hosted the ICT Mela for the past five years, continuing its mission to empower youth innovation and showcase strong technological capabilities among students.
