TVS NTORQ 150 Unveiled at Nepathya Concert in Kirtipur, Priced at Rs. 3,69,900

Kathmandu: Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of TVS Motor Company in Nepal, unveiled the new TVS NTORQ 150 during Nepathya Live in Kirtipur, combining the launch of its performance-oriented scooter with a live musical event.

The unveiling took place on October 10 at the Laboratory School Ground in Kirtipur, where popular Nepali folk-rock band Nepathya performed before a large audience.

The TVS NTORQ 150, promoted as Nepal’s first 150cc Hyper Sport Scooter, was officially unveiled by Dipendra Mishra, Chief Operating Officer of Jagdamba Motors, and Karuna Pudasaini, Senior Marketing Manager of the company.

The launch featured a product presentation, a video highlighting the scooter’s journey to Lo Manthang and an on-stage reveal accompanied by visual effects. The company announced an introductory price of Rs. 3,69,900.

Performance and Advanced Features

The TVS NTORQ 150 is powered by a 149.7cc, three-valve engine producing 13.2 PS of power and 14.2 Nm of torque.

According to the company, the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 6.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 104 km/h.

The scooter features Street and Race riding modes, traction control, single-channel ABS, a hybrid TFT-LCD instrument cluster and smart connectivity features.

Designed for riders seeking a combination of performance, technology and sporty styling, the NTORQ 150 is available in three colour options: Stealth Silver, Racing Red and Turbo Blue.

Jagdamba Motors Highlights Youth-Focused Launch

Speaking at the event, Dipendra Mishra said the NTORQ 150 represents the next stage in the evolution of performance scooters, bringing together power, technology, safety and distinctive design.

He said unveiling the scooter during a Nepathya concert created an opportunity to connect the excitement of riding with the energy of live music.

Similarly, Karuna Pudasaini said the new model builds on the NTORQ brand’s popularity among young riders by introducing a more powerful engine, advanced safety technologies and multiple riding modes.

She highlighted the company’s campaign message, “This Isn’t Hype. This Is Hyper Performance,” as a reflection of the scooter’s performance-focused positioning.

Music and Mobility Come Together

Organized by Ramailo Event Management, Nepathya Live in Kirtipur featured the band’s signature blend of traditional Nepali melodies and contemporary rock music.

The TVS NTORQ 150 served as the title sponsor of the concert, providing Jagdamba Motors with a platform to introduce the scooter to younger audiences and music enthusiasts.

With the launch, Jagdamba Motors aims to strengthen its presence in Nepal’s premium scooter segment by offering a combination of performance, safety and connected technology.

The TVS NTORQ 150 is available at an introductory price of Rs. 3,69,900 through the company’s authorized dealership network across Nepal.
