Foton Nepal to Open Large EV Commercial Vehicle Service Center in Pepsicola

Kathmandu: MAW Vridhi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Foton commercial vehicles in Nepal, is establishing a large electric commercial vehicle service center in Pepsicola, Kathmandu, to strengthen its after-sales service network.

The state-of-the-art facility is currently under construction and is expected to provide customers with convenient and efficient maintenance and technical support for Foton commercial vehicles.

The service center will feature modern infrastructure, advanced service equipment and increased service capacity. It will be staffed by technicians and engineers trained by Foton International to provide servicing and technical support in line with the company’s service standards.

Wide Range of Services Under One Roof

The upcoming Pepsicola facility will provide regular maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, diagnostic inspections, technical assessments, parts replacement and other vehicle service solutions.

The company said particular emphasis will be placed on reducing service turnaround times and vehicle downtime, especially for customers using commercial vehicles for business operations.

Dr. Anil Kumar Baral, Chief Executive Officer of Foton Motor Nepal, said after-sales service remains a key priority for the company. “Quality after-sales service is our top priority. Our responsibility goes beyond selling vehicles. We aim to ensure that every Foton customer has easy access to quality service, genuine spare parts, and professional technical support for their vehicles,” Baral said.

Focus on Technical Expertise and Genuine Spare Parts

The new service center will be equipped with modern diagnostic and repair systems to support Foton’s growing vehicle portfolio in Nepal.

Technicians and engineers trained and certified by Foton International will handle vehicle inspections, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.

The facility will also strengthen the availability of Foton Genuine Spare Parts through an organized inventory and parts management system. The company expects this to reduce delays caused by parts shortages and minimize vehicle downtime.

Expanding Nationwide After-Sales Network

Foton currently has 21 service centers and service touchpoints across Nepal. The company plans to further expand its network, with a target of establishing Foton service touchpoints at intervals of no more than 100 kilometers along key routes from eastern to western Nepal by the end of 2026.

The initiative is aimed at making professional servicing and technical support more accessible to customers operating commercial vehicles across the country.

Once operational, the Pepsicola service center is expected to strengthen Foton’s after-sales support in the Kathmandu Valley and contribute to the company’s broader nationwide service expansion.
