Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of TVS Motor Company in Nepal, has launched the new TVS NTORQ 150 in Dharan during a concert by Nepali singer Bipul Chhetri.
The launch brought together TVS enthusiasts, media representatives, content creators, dealers and guests for the unveiling of the company’s latest and most powerful addition to the NTORQ lineup.
The scooter was unveiled on stage by singer Bipul Chhetri, Paurakh Luitel, Managing Director of Paras Automobile, TVS Itahari, and Karuna Pudasaini, Senior Marketing Manager at Jagdamba Motors.
Performance-Focused 150cc Scooter
The TVS NTORQ 150 is powered by a 149.7cc air-cooled O3CTech engine that produces 13.2 PS at 7,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
According to the company, the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 6.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 104 km/h.
The scooter features styling inspired by stealth aircraft, including MULTIPOINT projector headlamps, aerodynamic winglets, jet-inspired vents, colored alloy wheels, a naked motorcycle-style handlebar and a T-shaped tail lamp.
Its sporty design and signature muffler note further emphasize the performance-oriented character of the NTORQ lineup.
Speaking about the launch, Karuna Pudasaini said the NTORQ 150 takes the brand’s performance and technology offering further while targeting the expectations of younger riders.
She added that Dharan remains an important market for TVS, with the launch aimed at strengthening the company’s presence in Eastern Nepal.
Smart Features and Rider Convenience
The TVS NTORQ 150 comes equipped with TVS SmartXonnect, offering more than 50 connected features, including turn-by-turn navigation, last parked location, call and message notifications and ride modes.
For safety and convenience, the scooter features Single Channel ABS, traction control, hazard lamps and follow-me headlamps.
It also comes with telescopic suspension, adjustable brake levers, a patented E-Z centre stand and 22-litre under-seat storage.
Price and Availability
The TVS NTORQ 150 is available in Stealth Silver, Racing Red and Turbo Blue colour options.
The scooter is priced at an introductory price of NPR 3,69,900 and is now available through Jagdamba Motors’ authorized dealerships across Nepal.
With the Dharan launch, Jagdamba Motors has expanded the availability of the NTORQ 150 to customers in Eastern Nepal and across the country.
