Itahari: Ramada by Wyndham Itahari has been promoting tourism destinations across East Nepal through digital campaigns, collaborations and travel experiences, aiming to attract more visitors to the region.
The hotel, which began operations in January 2026 under the internationally recognized Wyndham Hotels & Resorts brand, initiated its destination promotion efforts even before its official opening.
Through its social media platforms, the hotel has been highlighting East Nepal’s natural attractions, wildlife, cultural landmarks and travel experiences to encourage tourists to explore the region.
The official key handover ceremony took place in March during a visit by Animesh Kumar, Head of Operations, Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. The ceremony was attended by hotel Chairman Desh Bandhu Basnet and the Ramada team, marking the brand’s formal presence in East Nepal.
Focus on Koshi Tappu and Wildlife Tourism
One of the major destinations featured in the hotel’s promotional initiatives is Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, known for its biodiversity and birdwatching opportunities.
Ramada has collaborated with Bhupendra Yadav, Conservation Officer at Koshi Tappu, to highlight the reserve’s ecological significance and encourage interest in wildlife tourism.
The hotel has also introduced its Koshi Tappu Wilderness Escape package, connecting accommodation with opportunities to explore the natural attractions of East Nepal.
Through these initiatives, Ramada aims to encourage travelers to explore destinations beyond traditional tourism routes and discover the region’s wildlife, landscapes and cultural experiences.
Dining and Hospitality Experiences
Alongside destination promotion, Ramada by Wyndham Itahari has been developing its food and beverage offerings as part of its hospitality services.
According to the hotel, its dining venues and culinary experiences have attracted both hotel guests and local customers, contributing to its growing presence in Itahari’s hospitality sector.
The hotel aims to position itself not only as an accommodation destination but also as a venue for dining and leisure activities.
Ramada by Wyndham Itahari said it will continue promoting regional attractions through destination-focused campaigns, partnerships and hospitality experiences.
The initiative is part of the hotel’s broader efforts to support tourism development in East Nepal while strengthening the connection between accommodation providers and local travel destinations.
