The event gathered over 200 participants, including senior leaders from banks, fintech companies, merchant organizations, and payment processors. It served as a platform to celebrate industry achievements, deepen collaborations, and unveil Visa Accept; Visa’s latest innovation designed to empower micro-merchants and small businesses with simpler digital payment acceptance capabilities. Held at the Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, the conclave was graced by distinguished guests, including Mr. Bam Bahadur Mishra, Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, and Dr. Satyendra Timilsina, Executive Director of Nepal Rastra Bank. Senior Visa leaders in attendance included Sabbir Ahmed, Country Manager for Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan; Ramakrishnan Gopalan, Head of Products for India and South Asia; and Manoj Thapa, Head of Visa’s Nepal business.

The event also featured keynote addresses by Chief Guest Mr. Bam Bahadur Mishra, Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, and Guest of Honor Dr. Satyendra Timilsina, Executive Director of Nepal Rastra Bank. This was followed by the Client Excellence Awards ceremony, recognizing 13 outstanding winners across 20 categories for their remarkable achievements between July 2024 and June 2025. Categories included consumer debit and credit cards, prepaid cards, acquiring business, cross-border payments, contactless solutions, commercial cards, fintech partnerships, product innovation, and merchant excellence.
