Kathmandu: MAW Rides Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Yamaha two-wheelers in Nepal, has unveiled a new Blue color variant of the Yamaha XSR 155 at the ongoing Yamaha Blue Fest: Nepal’s Biggest Exchange Mela in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
The festival, which began on September 21 and will run through September 26, has brought Yamaha’s latest offerings, exchange opportunities and festive promotions under one roof.
The new Blue XSR 155 was officially unveiled on September 23, following the motorcycle’s strong reception at the recently concluded NADA Auto Show. The new variant is priced from NPR 5,34,900, making it a more accessible option for customers looking to join the XSR family.
428 Bookings at NADA
The XSR 155 generated significant interest during its launch at the NADA Auto Show, recording 428 bookings over the six-day event.
According to MAW Rides, customer inquiries have continued to increase ahead of the festive season, with prospective buyers also requesting additional color options. The introduction of the new Blue shade comes in response to that demand.
Built around the philosophy “Built on Legacy. Driven by Performance,” the XSR 155 combines a neo-retro design with modern performance and a focus on individuality.
Speaking at the unveiling, Mr. Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Chairman of MAW Group, said the company was encouraged by the motorcycle’s response at NADA. “The response to the XSR 155 launch at NADA was encouraging, recording 428 bookings in just six days. As we head into the festive season, customer interest has continued to grow, along with steady requests for more color options. We are introducing the new Blue color to meet this demand and make the bike accessible to more riders. We also look forward to bringing more color options to Nepal in the near future.”
Yamaha Blue Fest Continues Until September 26
The Yamaha Blue Fest will continue at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, until September 26.
Visitors can see the newly unveiled Blue XSR 155 and take it for a test ride. The event also offers customers the opportunity to exchange an old two-wheeler of any brand for a new Yamaha motorcycle.
Yamaha says customers can receive vehicle valuations from more than 50 valuators, alongside special festive exchange offers available during the remaining days of the event.
The exchange mela provides Yamaha an opportunity to engage directly with customers while showcasing its latest products ahead of Nepal’s festive buying season.
