Kathmandu: Samsung Nepal has announced the Galaxy S26 FE, the latest addition to its Galaxy S26 series and the first device in the lineup to launch with One UI 9. The new smartphone combines enhanced camera capabilities, advanced Galaxy AI features and a slim, lightweight design aimed at bringing a premium Galaxy experience to a wider range of users.
The Galaxy S26 FE is designed around the features consumers use most, with improvements in photography, video recording, editing and AI-powered everyday experiences.
According to Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, Senior Director, MX Business, Samsung Nepal, the Galaxy S26 FE has been developed to retain the core strengths of the Galaxy S series while ensuring that its features provide practical value in users’ everyday lives.
Enhanced Camera for Capture and Creativity
The Galaxy S26 FE features an upgraded triple rear-camera system supported by advanced image processing, enabling users to capture detailed images across a range of shooting conditions.
The smartphone also introduces My FanCam, a feature previously available on Samsung’s latest foldable devices. The technology automatically tracks a selected person and keeps them centered in the frame, adjusting the composition as the subject moves.
For video recording, Super Steady with Horizontal Lock helps users capture smoother and more level footage, particularly during fast-moving activities. The device also offers 3x optical zoom, providing greater flexibility for distant subjects.
Samsung’s Nightography technology is also included, helping users capture brighter and clearer images in low-light environments while retaining detail in challenging conditions.
More Personalized Galaxy AI
The Galaxy S26 FE comes with One UI 9, introducing a range of context-aware Galaxy AI features designed to make everyday tasks more convenient.
The updated Now Brief, first introduced with the Galaxy S25 series, offers a more personalized experience through customizable briefing cards covering information such as weather and wellness insights.
Users can also create their own briefing cards using simple prompts, allowing the feature to deliver information tailored to their individual routines and preferences.
Price and Availability in Nepal
Samsung Nepal is offering the Galaxy S26 FE (8GB/256GB) in Pistachio, Graphite and Blueberry color options.
The smartphone carries a recommended retail price of NPR 119,999. Customers can also purchase the device through a 24-month EMI plan starting at NPR 3,256 per month, while the 12-month EMI option is priced at NPR 6,000 per month.
Launch Offers
Samsung Nepal has introduced several offers as part of the Galaxy S26 FE upgrade program.
Customers can receive an additional exchange bonus of up to NPR 8,000, which can help reduce the required down payment when exchanging an eligible device.
The company is also offering a complimentary six-month Google AI Pro subscription, valued at NPR 18,351.
