Kathmandu: Nepali Congress leader Binod Chaudhary has filed his candidacy for vice president under the inclusive category at the party’s 15th General Convention.
Chaudhary, who previously served as a Central Working Committee member, registered his candidacy on Tuesday as the party began the process of electing new leadership.
The Nepali Congress Central Election Committee has established an election office at Rastriya Sabha Griha for distributing nomination forms and registering candidacies for various Central Working Committee positions.
A total of 7,114 delegates are participating in the convention to elect the party’s new leadership. The nomination process for Central Working Committee posts began on Tuesday.
