Kathmandu: Samsung Nepal has officially announced the pre-order of its latest A series smartphones (the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Samsung Galaxy A37 5G) bringing upgraded design, advanced camera systems, and enhanced AI-powered features to users in Nepal.
Pre-orders will be open from April 5 to April 18, 2026 (or until stock lasts), targeting professionals, students, and everyday users seeking reliable and intelligent performance.
Speaking on the launch, Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, Senior Director, MX Business at Samsung Nepal, stated that the new Galaxy A series reflects the company’s commitment to democratizing AI by making advanced innovations accessible to a wider audience. He also highlighted the introduction of an extended 24-month EMI facility to improve affordability.
Enhanced AI and Smart Features
Powered by One UI 8.5, both devices introduce Samsung’s “Awesome Intelligence,” featuring tools such as voice transcription, AI Select for intuitive on-screen actions, and creative editing options like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions. The A57 5G further includes advanced features like Best Face for group photos and Auto Trim for video editing.
Users can also benefit from Circle to Search with Google, upgraded Bixby, and Gemini integration, enabling more natural and efficient interactions across applications.
Advanced Camera and Performance
Both models feature a triple-camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor, supported by improved image signal processing (ISP) and Nightography for better low-light performance. The Galaxy A57 5G offers enhanced image processing, delivering sharper images and faster shutter speeds.
The devices are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, offering up to two days of usage, along with Super Fast Charging. The A57 5G also includes a larger vapor chamber for sustained performance.
Refined Design and Durability
The smartphones feature a sleek, modern design with slimmer bezels and vibrant Super AMOLED displays enhanced by Vision Booster technology. Both devices are IP68-rated for water and dust resistance.
Samsung has also committed to long-term usability with up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Security features include Knox Vault, Security & Privacy Dashboard, Auto Blocker, Private Sharing, and Theft Protection.
