Kathmandu: On 26 August, a devastating flash flood swept through Rasuwa and other parts of the country, leaving families without homes, belongings, and, in many cases, loved ones. In the days that followed, the scale of the devastation has become clearer, along with the growing need to extend support to those who have lost almost everything.
In response, the Yamaha Nepal family, together with its 2-Wheeler Yamaha division, authorized dealers, and riders, has come together to contribute to relief efforts for families affected by the disaster.
Yamaha Nepal and its authorized dealerships across the country jointly contributed Rs. 15,00,000 from the Yamaha Dealer’s Solidarity Fund, choosing to stand together at a time when unity and support are needed the most.
Similarly, the GenZ team from the Yamaha division had earlier contributed Rs. 15,000 from their personal savings, a gesture reflecting how deeply the tragedy has touched people at every level.
Standing by the nation and community during times of crisis is what matters most. The Yamaha Nepal family, too, felt this responsibility deeply and chose to step forward and give back in whatever ways possible.
The entire Yamaha Nepal family hopes that this collective effort reaches the people who need it most and provides some comfort during a time when comfort is difficult to find.
As recovery efforts continue, Yamaha Nepal remains committed to standing with Nepal in every way possible, for as long as it takes for the affected communities to regain their footing.
