Kathmandu: The price of gold in the local market decreased by NPR 100 per tola today, while the price of silver increased by NPR 50.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at NPR 306,500 per tola, while silver is being traded at NPR 5,340 per tola.

On Wednesday, hallmark gold was traded at NPR 306,600 per tola and silver at NPR 5,290 per tola. Similarly, on Tuesday, gold was priced at NPR 305,500 per tola, while silver stood at NPR 5,240 per tola. On Monday, gold was traded at NPR 304,600 per tola and silver at NPR 5,250 per tola.

According to international media reports, gold is currently being traded at USD 5,083 per ounce, while silver is trading at USD 83 per ounce.
