Kathmandu: The prices of both gold and silver increased in the domestic market on Sunday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

Gold prices rose by Rs 2,700 per tola. Following the increase, the price of gold has reached Rs 299,200 per tola on Sunday, bringing it close to the Rs 300,000 mark once again. On the previous trading day (Friday, Baisakh 11), gold was traded at Rs 296,500 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver also saw an increase of Rs 50 per tola. The association stated that silver is being traded at Rs 4,995 per tola on Sunday, compared to Rs 4,945 per tola on the previous trading day (Friday).
