Built on Mahindra’s advanced INGLO Electric Origin Architecture and powered by MAIA (Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture), the new eSUVs represent a new generation of intelligent, performance-driven, and sustainable electric vehicles.

Nepal was first introduced to the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, where the vehicles generated strong interest among consumers. Since then, these Born Electric SUVs have continued to gain momentum in the Nepali market, driven by their blend of performance, intelligence, design, and sustainability. Notably, the Mahindra XEV 9e was awarded Green Car of the Year 2026 at the Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) 2026, recognising its cutting-edge electric technology and sustainable design.
Building on growing consumer response, Agni Group has outlined plans to expand Mahindra’s Born Electric portfolio across multiple regions of Nepal. Following successful launches in Hetauda, Chitwan, and Birgunj, additional regional launches are planned in Bhairahawa and Itahari, bringing advanced electric mobility closer to customers beyond major urban centres.
Commenting on the launch, the company stated that Nepal’s transition to electric mobility is vital for sustainable development and energy independence. Regional launches such as this demonstrate how advanced technology and responsible mobility can deliver long-term economic and environmental benefits, supported by Agni Group’s trusted nationwide network.
A Mahindra brand representative said the BE 6 and XEV 9e mark the next chapter of Mahindra’s Born Electric vision, combining performance, intelligence, and emotional design to deliver immersive driving experiences tailored for emerging markets like Nepal.
