Kathmandu: Dongfeng Motor Industry Import & Export Co., Ltd. (DFMIEC) has reinforced its commitment to the Nepali market with a high-level official visit led by Mr. Wang Long, Chairman of DFMIEC. The senior delegation’s visit focused on reviewing Dongfeng’s market performance, operational structure, and overall brand presence in Nepal, while deepening engagement with local partners and customers.
The visiting delegation included Mr. Wang Long, Chairman of DFMIEC; Mr. Zhao Xiaojie, Director of the Strategic Operations Department; Mr. Chen Jian, Director of the Human Resources Department; and Mr. He Zixin, Region Manager for South Asia. The team conducted on-ground assessments to observe current market activities, evaluate infrastructure and after-sales operations, and explore future opportunities for growth, expansion, and deeper market penetration in Nepal.
During the visit, the delegation reviewed Dongfeng’s performance in the Nepali market and gathered insights on customer response, market trends, and operational efficiency. Existing facilities were evaluated, and discussions were held on future strategies aimed at strengthening brand presence, enhancing customer experience, and expanding product offerings, particularly in line with Nepal’s evolving mobility and EV landscape.
As a key highlight of the visit, Dongfeng delegates handed over Nammi vehicles to customers, marking an important milestone for the brand in Nepal. The handover ceremony underscored Dongfeng and Nammi’s commitment to delivering reliable, value-driven mobility solutions while fostering long-term relationships with Nepali customers.
The visit concluded with positive and forward-looking discussions on future collaboration and market development. Dongfeng Motor reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the growth of its operations in Nepal by working closely with local partners to strengthen infrastructure, improve service quality, and unlock new opportunities in the rapidly developing Nepali EV market.
