Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. Celebrates its 33rd Anniversary

Kathmandu: Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (NSBL) celebrated its 33rd Bank Day on 7 July 2026. To mark the occasion, the Bank organized an oath-taking ceremony during which all NSBL employees reaffirmed their responsibility and commitment towards the institution.

The oath was administered by Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ram Kumar Tiwari to staff members at the Corporate Office in Kathmandu. Mr. Vikas Anand, Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Panda, Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Bishnu Dev Yadav, Principal Compliance Officer, along with other senior officials of the Bank, were present during the ceremony. Employees from Province Offices and branches across the country participated virtually.

Addressing the employees, the MD & CEO emphasized the importance of every staff member taking personal responsibility for upholding the Bank’s legacy and sustaining its position as a leader and pioneer in Nepal’s financial services sector.

He highlighted that the Bank has consistently followed international best practices, enabling it to strengthen governance standards and enhance operational excellence. The MD & CEO encouraged employees to continue striving for excellence through ethics, integrity, innovation, customer-centric service, teamwork, and collaboration. He also emphasized the importance of transforming challenges into opportunities and aspirations into achievements through dedication, commitment, and collective effort.

Further commemorating the occasion and reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, NSBL organized blood donation programmes across all seven provinces, including at its Corporate Office in Kamaladi, Kathmandu, followed by CSR initiatives in Biratnagar and Birendranagar.

In Biratnagar, the Bank provided a Smart Board to Shree Laxminarayan Ved Vidhyashram and extended financial support to Birateshwar Jeshtha Nagarik Maitri Clinic. Similarly, in Birendranagar, the Bank donated Smart Boards to Shree Prabhat Madhyamik Vidhyalaya and Shree Hari Dil Bhumi Madhyamik Vidhyalaya to support technology-enabled learning and enhance the quality of education.

These initiatives reflect the Bank’s continued commitment to community welfare, educational development, and creating a positive social impact across the country.

Nepal SBI Bank has been serving customers for the past 33 years and currently operates through a network of 103 branches, 22 extension counters, seven Province Offices, 21 branchless banking units, 127 ATMs, and its Corporate Office.
