Kathmandu: In a remarkable initiative to boost Nepal’s frozen dessert sector, Sagtani Group, LAIEF Ice Cream Machineries, and the Nepal Italy Chamber of Commerce & Industries (NICCI) jointly hosted a high-impact event titled “Transforming Ice Cream Production in Nepal” in Kathmandu.

The event brought together prominent members of the food industry, business leaders, and stakeholders from both Nepal and Italy, fostering dialogue on modernizing ice cream production through cutting-edge technology and cross-border collaboration.

Renowned Italian brands—LAIEF, Technoice, Packint, and Cold Car—showcased their latest innovations in ice cream machinery, offering end-to-end solutions from production to cold-chain transportation. Each presentation emphasized efficiency, automation, and sustainability, key pillars in meeting global standards and consumer demand.

This collaborative platform not only aims to elevate production capabilities in Nepal but also serves as a milestone in strengthening industrial ties and trade relations between Nepal and Italy.
