Addressing the gathering, Mr. Hajime Aota, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group, highlighted Nepal as one of Yamaha’s most important markets, particularly for electric mobility.
He noted that Nepal’s electrification journey is unique and explained that, unlike countries such as Thailand with large engine manufacturing bases, Nepal offers strong potential for electric vehicle adoption. He announced that Yamaha has selected Nepal as the first international market outside India to introduce its Yamaha-branded e-Zero Series electric motorcycles.
“Nepal is one of the most important markets for the Yamaha Motor India Group. Its electrification journey is unique, and that is why we have chosen Nepal as the first market outside India for our e-Zero Series electric motorcycles. Together, let us build a brighter future,” Mr. Aota said. He further added: “Nepal is one of Yamaha’s most important and promising markets, with a rapidly growing EV culture. We are preparing to introduce our electric vehicles in Nepal in the near future, and this reflects our confidence in the market’s potential. This Thailand visit also includes a pre-allocation meeting for next year’s product lineup.”
Speaking at the event, Mr. Vishnu Kumar Agrawal, Chairman of MAW Rides Pvt. Ltd., expressed appreciation to Yamaha’s dealer network for their continued dedication and contribution. “I extend my sincere appreciation to all Yamaha dealers for their dedication and hard work throughout the year. Because Yamaha achieved more than its targeted goals this year, this Thailand trip was planned as a celebration of that success. I am truly proud of the collective efforts of our dealer network, and I encourage everyone to keep this momentum going as we move forward together, focused on the business and ready to make the year ahead even more successful,” he said.
In addition to the official program, participants enjoyed several recreational activities, including a speedboat excursion to Coral Island, a guided city and temple tour in Bangkok, shopping, and an evening dinner cruise.
With the successful conclusion of the Blue Surge – Powering Ahead Together Partners’ Meet 2026, Yamaha Nepal’s partners have returned home with renewed enthusiasm, stronger collaboration, and a shared commitment to driving the brand’s continued growth in the year ahead.
