ECUT Delegation Visits Mid Valley International College to Send Off Students for Cultural Exchange Programme in China

Kathmandu: Mid Valley International College welcomed Mr. Zhou Ling, Deputy Dean of the International School, and Mr. Fan Zhenquan, Section Head of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office from East China University of Technology (ECUT), China, during their official visit to Nepal.

The visit marked the commencement of the ECUT Cultural Exchange Programme 2026, under which 11 students from Mid Valley International College and Galaxy Public School will travel to Nanchang, China, to participate in an international learning and cultural immersion programme from October 25 to November 4, 2026.

During their visit, the ECUT delegation met with the participating students, the college leadership, and faculty members, sharing insights into the exchange programme, student life at ECUT, and the importance of global education and cross-cultural understanding.

The interactive session also provided students with an opportunity to engage directly with the university representatives and gain valuable information about their upcoming academic and cultural journey.

The cultural exchange programme features a wide range of educational and cultural activities, including Chinese language and cultural workshops, visits to historical landmarks and museums, traditional arts experiences, educational trips to Jingdezhen and Wuyuan, participation in ECUT’s International Cultural Festival, and opportunities to interact with students from around the world.

Speaking on the occasion, the management of Mid Valley International College expressed its appreciation to East China University of Technology (ECUT) for strengthening international academic collaboration and creating meaningful global learning opportunities for Nepali students.

The college stated that the initiative reflects its continued commitment to providing students with international exposure, experiential learning opportunities, and the skills required to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

Through such global partnerships, students gain valuable cultural awareness, confidence, and international perspectives that complement their academic education and prepare them for future global opportunities.
