Kathmandu: Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of MG Motors in Nepal, has officially launched the all-new MGS6 EV Trophy Long Range in the Nepali market. The premium electric SUV has been introduced with the brand philosophy “Find Your MORE,” focusing on delivering enhanced performance, technology, comfort, and driving experience.

The launch event was attended by Mr. Muhammad Qasim Zahoor, representative of MG SMIL, alongside company officials and stakeholders from Nepal’s automobile sector.

The newly launched MGS6 EV is powered by a high-performance 180 kW electric motor paired with a 77 kWh battery pack. According to the company, the SUV offers a WLTP-certified driving range of up to 530 kilometers on a single charge, targeting both daily urban commuting and long-distance travel needs.

Designed to suit Nepal’s varying road conditions, the MGS6 EV features 195 mm ground clearance and a rear independent suspension setup aimed at improving ride quality, stability, and handling performance. The vehicle also comes with a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) architecture, which the company says delivers a more engaging and dynamic driving experience.

In terms of design and technology, the MGS6 EV combines premium styling, intelligent connectivity features, and advanced EV technologies to position itself competitively in Nepal’s growing electric vehicle market.

The company has also announced extended warranty support for the vehicle. The MGS6 EV is backed by MG’s recently introduced battery warranty program of up to 11 years or 15 years, along with a five-year standard warranty on the motor, reinforcing the brand’s focus on long-term reliability and customer confidence.
