Real Drivers Wanted for the New Škoda Kushaq

Real Drivers Wanted for the New Škoda Kushaq

Kathmandu: Škoda Nepal today launched the facelifted Škoda Kushaq at the Škoda Showroom under the tagline “Real Drivers Wanted.” The event brought together company leadership, business partners, media representatives, and invited guests for the unveiling of the new Kushaq.

The vehicle was unveiled by Mr. Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Chairman of MAW Group, alongside Mr. Raunak Agarwal, CEO of MAW Expanze. Their message was clear: while others may own a car, real drivers own the road. The Kushaq is not designed merely to win comparison charts; it is built for those who judge a car by what it delivers behind the wheel.

That philosophy is reflected throughout the Kushaq’s engineering. The TSI engine, available in both 1.0L and 1.5L variants, is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and DSG transmission, delivering the responsiveness and control that define genuine driving pleasure. Inside, the rear-seat massage function introduces a level of European comfort rarely seen in this segment, reinforcing the idea that the Kushaq is engineered for performance first and complemented by premium comfort.

What sets the Kushaq apart in Nepal is not only what it offers, but also what it costs to own. Carrying an international badge backed by a rich European engineering heritage, the new Kushaq starts at NPR 57.90 lakh, bringing world-class driving within reach for more Nepali customers.

Ownership is made even more convenient through the Promise of 12 annual maintenance programme, available across all 12 service locations nationwide. The plan offers transparent ownership with no hidden charges and a fixed maintenance cost of NPR 12,000, applicable once every 12 months or every 12,000 kilometres.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Vishnu Agarwal said: “The Kushaq brings European engineering to Nepal’s roads without asking Nepali drivers to pay a European price. That is what real value looks like.”

Mr. Raunak Agarwal added: “This is a car built for people who already know what they want from driving. We are inviting them to experience it, not just hear about it.”

With this launch, Škoda Nepal reinforces the Kushaq’s position as one of the clearest expressions of a driver’s SUV in Nepal, combining performance, heritage, and uncompromising value.
