Birgunj: MAW Vriddhi, the official distributor of the futuristic and intelligent EV brand Deepal in Nepal, has unveiled the new electric SUV Deepal S05 a perfect fusion of luxury, style, and technology — in Birgunj, one of the key markets of Madhesh Province.

At a grand launch event held on Wednesday, the Deepal S05 was jointly unveiled by Rajesh Man Singh, Mayor of Birgunj Metropolitan City; actress Niti Shah; Om Prakash Sikaria, Director of Vriddhi Group; Vivek Sikaria, Managing Director of MAW Vriddhi; Ashok Temani, President of Madhesh Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Hari Gautam, President of Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and Anup Agrawal, Chairman of Deepal Novus Brothers Birgunj.

Within just a few weeks of its national launch, the Deepal S05 has become one of the most talked-about models in Nepal’s EV market, thanks to its exceptional design, luxury, and cutting-edge technology. It is powered by the world-renowned CATL Golden Shield Battery System 2.0, offering a remarkable charging life cycle of 5,000 cycles (equivalent to 600,000 km).

The S05 features ventilated and heated front seats, including a “Queen Co-Pilot Seat” that offers a Zero-Gravity posture for ultimate comfort. Among its segment-first innovations are the “Remote In & Out Parking” system, allowing the car to move forward or backward using just the key fob, and the Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD), which projects real-time navigation and essential driving data directly onto the windshield for enhanced safety.

The interior is equipped with a 14.4-inch Sunflower Touchscreen featuring full internet connectivity, delivering a seamless and immersive digital experience.

New Showroom and Exclusive Test Drive & Exchange Program in Birgunj
Simultaneously, a state-of-the-art Deepal showroom has been inaugurated in Birgunj, operated by Novus Brothers Pvt. Ltd., which will manage sales and after-sales services for Deepal’s advanced EV lineup in the region.

To commemorate the launch, a four-day Special Test Drive and Exchange Program has been announced, offering exclusive benefits and experiences. Visitors can test drive Deepal’s premium models, including the Deepal S07 ICA (Nepal’s most connected and stylish EV), the L07 sedan, the ultra-premium luxury SUV Avatr 11, and the newly launched Deepal S05.

During the event, customers can enjoy the best valuation for their old vehicles through four partnered reconditioning houses, along with cash discounts, free road tax and insurance, and a complimentary travel charger on select Deepal models.

Adding a futuristic touch to the celebration, the event also showcases Deepal’s advanced humanoid robots and robot dogs, reflecting Changan’s leadership in artificial intelligence and automation.
