Kathmandu: Nammi is celebrating a remarkable milestone: one year since the launch of the Nammi 01 in Nepal. Introduced at the iconic Soaltee Hotel with a first-of-its-kind event — featuring a live concert by Sabin Rai and The Pharaoh alongside a fashion show — Nammi has, in just 12 months, become one of the most successful EV stories in Nepal’s history.
Over the past year, the Nammi 01 has won enthusiastic reception from customers nationwide, securing its position as a leader in the electric hatchback segment. Its success underscores the growing trust and loyalty of Nepal’s EV community and highlights Nammi’s role in making sustainable mobility more accessible.
Redefining the Hatchback Segment
From the outset, Nammi set out to disrupt the market — and it delivered. With first-in-segment features such as sleek frameless doors, flush door handles, memory and welcoming seats, auto parking, and a passenger drawer with tabletop, the Nammi 01 redefined the standard for hatchbacks in Nepal. Its 12.8” advanced infotainment system and cutting-edge driver assistance features offered technology, style, and performance unmatched at its price point.
Celebrating with Gratitude
To mark this anniversary, Nammi hosted a cake-cutting ceremony at its stall with customers, stakeholders, auto vloggers, and media representatives. Reflecting on the journey, Mr. Prashanna Pant, CEO of MAW Vriddhi, said:
“This one-year journey with Nammi has been remarkable. We are filled with gratitude toward our customers for trusting us, and we will continue to bring innovative and sustainable mobility solutions to Nepal.”
Looking Ahead: The Nammi Vigo
Even as it celebrates this milestone, Nammi is gearing up for its next big leap — the Nammi Vigo, a compact electric SUV set to build on the success of the Nammi 01 while pushing boundaries in design, features, and sustainable mobility.
Nammi’s first year is only the beginning — a success story in motion that promises even more innovation for Nepal’s EV future.
