Kathmandu: Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD Auto Industry Co. Ltd. in Nepal, has unveiled “The New Generation of ATTO Series” at the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
The new lineup includes the updated BYD ATTO 1, new ATTO 2 Essential and comprehensively refreshed 2026 ATTO 3, featuring upgrades in technology, design, comfort, connectivity and convenience.
Updated BYD ATTO 1 with Enhanced Technology
The BYD ATTO 1 has received technology and convenience upgrades across both its Dynamic and Premium variants.
Both variants now come equipped with a 360-degree camera, offering drivers an improved view around the vehicle and greater confidence while parking and manoeuvring in tight spaces. The Premium variant additionally gets Auto-Fold ORVMs for added everyday convenience.

- ATTO 1 Dynamic: NPR 30.75 lakh
- ATTO 1 Premium: NPR 34.80 lakh
New ATTO 2 Essential Variant Introduced
BYD has expanded its ATTO 2 lineup with the introduction of the new ATTO 2 Essential, offering customers a new entry point into the electric SUV range.
The ATTO 2 Essential is equipped with a 45.12 kWh battery and offers a WLTP-certified range of 312 km. The existing ATTO 2 Premium continues with a 51.13 kWh battery and a WLTP range of 345 km.
The ATTO 2 lineup is priced at:
- ATTO 2 Essential: NPR 45.95 lakh
- ATTO 2 Premium: NPR 48.99 lakh
2026 BYD ATTO 3 Gets Major Design and Technology Upgrades
The 2026 BYD ATTO 3 receives a comprehensive refresh, building on its position as one of Nepal’s leading electric SUVs.
According to Cimex, the ATTO 3 has been Nepal’s highest-selling SUV since its launch in October 2022. The updated model now adopts BYD’s Dynamic Dragon Face Design, giving the SUV a more distinctive and contemporary appearance.
The rear design has also been refreshed with a rear spoiler, high-mounted brake light and Chinese Knot tail light.
Inside the cabin, the new ATTO 3 features increased soft-touch surfaces, improved material quality and enhanced tactile comfort. A column-shift gear selector has also been introduced to improve driving convenience and response.
The technology package includes a 50W ultra-fast wireless smartphone charger with active cooling, an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument cluster, and ventilated seats for both the driver and front passenger.
The audio system has also been upgraded with Dirac HD Sound and an eight-speaker setup as standard on both Advance and Superior variants.
The 2026 BYD ATTO 3 Advanced is priced at NPR 62.90 lakh.
