Kathmandu: On the occasion of International Day of Yoga, the Miracle of Mind meditation app, developed by volunteers of the Isha Foundation under the guidance of Sadhguru, is launching in Nepali. The launch will be marked by a special meditation session at T21 Palace in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.
Miracle of Mind is a free meditation app designed to help users establish a regular meditation practice through a powerful guided meditation created by Sadhguru. Over the past four decades, Sadhguru has led a global movement focused on raising human consciousness and promoting inner well-being.
Addressing Growing Mental Health Challenges
The launch comes at a time when mental health concerns are increasing worldwide. Recent studies estimate that around 1.2 billion people globally are living with mental health conditions, nearly double the number recorded in 1990.
In Nepal, data from the Nepal Health Research Council indicates that approximately 10% of adults experience mental health issues during their lifetime. Overall estimates suggest that up to 3.9 million Nepali adults are affected, with major depressive disorder and anxiety disorder among the most common conditions.
To help address these challenges, the Miracle of Mind app offers a simple seven-minute guided meditation aimed at helping users regain calm, improve focus, and enhance overall mental well-being.
Record-Breaking Adoption
According to Isha Foundation, the app is part of a broader initiative by Sadhguru to help at least three billion people explore the untapped potential of the human mind through meditation.
Originally launched on February 26, 2025, Miracle of Mind achieved remarkable global traction, reaching one million downloads within its first 15 hours. The app trended across 20 countries within 24 hours of launch, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Germany, and India. In India, it reached the number one position in the Health & Fitness category on the iOS App Store.
With the addition of the Nepali language, the app aims to make meditation more accessible to Nepali-speaking users and encourage greater awareness of mental wellness through a simple daily practice.
