Kathmandu: Kathmandu Marriott Hotel has launched “Flavours of Thailand,” a special culinary festival designed to bring the authentic tastes and rich culinary heritage of Thailand to Nepal. The event is being held at Edamame from June 15 to June 25, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM daily.
The festival officially commenced with a special gathering attended by members of the media and prominent content creators, including Kichhy Vlogs, Ronit Shrestha, Blur Diet, and Foodeliciousnp, who were invited to experience the Thai culinary journey firsthand.
A key highlight of the event is the participation of Chef Nattawud Rueangsamut, popularly known as Chef Aon, from Marriott North Pattaya. With more than 19 years of international culinary experience spanning Thai, Cantonese, Italian, French, Japanese, and modern Asian fusion cuisine, Chef Aon is leading the festival with a menu that combines authenticity, creativity, and culinary craftsmanship.
Guests can enjoy a carefully curated selection of Thai dishes that showcase the country’s diverse food culture. Signature menu items include Pla Salmon, Lobster Tom Yum, and Pad Kra Pao, each prepared using traditional herbs, spices, and cooking techniques that define authentic Thai cuisine.
Complementing the food offerings is a selection of Thai-inspired beverages, including Siam Garden, Phuket Spice Mule, and Thai Tea Boba Cloud, designed to enhance the overall dining experience.
Adding to the authenticity of the event, Thai Airways, renowned for its “Smooth as Silk” brand promise, has joined the festival as the official airline partner.
