Kathmandu: Litmus Industries Limited has officially launched its Skill Improvement Program (SIP) for electricians, a focused skill-upgrading initiative anchored in the company’s core values of education, competency, and safety. The program has been introduced in Kathmandu, with plans for nationwide expansion in the near future.

The SIP Program is designed exclusively for electricians who are customers of Litmus products, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting and empowering those who trust and work with its solutions. Through this initiative, Litmus aims to enhance technical proficiency while promoting safer electrical practices across Nepal.

The 20-day training program combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical training. Key focus areas include industrial electrical wiring and installation, motor control systems, earthing, lightning protection, generator systems, and other essential electrical competencies. By strengthening on-ground expertise, the program seeks to improve the overall quality, reliability, and safety of electrical installations.

The training is being conducted in collaboration with Balaju School of Engineering and Technology, an institution affiliated with CTEVT, ensuring structured, industry-relevant, and standardized technical education aligned with national skill development frameworks.

The program was formally inaugurated through a signing ceremony between Mrs. Sakshi Gupta, Director of Litmus Industries Limited, and Mr. Sushil Kumar Shrestha, Principal of Balaju School of Engineering and Technology.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Sakshi Gupta said, “This initiative is more than just training; it reflects our responsibility towards society and our customers. Litmus has always stood alongside the electricians who work with our products. Through education and skill development, this program will promote safer wiring practices and higher-quality electrical installations. We are proud to begin this initiative in Kathmandu and expand it across the country.”
